Maintaining moisture levels below 10% in NPK granules is crucial for quality and longevity. Firstly, we recommended a rotary drum dryer and a cooler for this Sri Lankan customer. After negotiations, we offered a 10% discount, bringing the total cost down to $33,678, or roughly 10,717,248 LKR.
So Sunil visited our plant and gave us a 40% down payment on September 6th, 2023. The transportation plan involved shipping the equipment from Shanghai Port in China to the Port of Colombo in Sri Lanka.
Then, we delivered these equipment from our plant on September 15th, 2023. The estimated shipping cost was $3,250, with two 40GP container and a transit time of approximately 23 days. And it arrived in Colombo on October 8th, 2023.
Consequently, two of our engineers arrived at Sunil’s plant in Sri Lanka on October 12th, 2023. And, he generously paid for two round-trip tickets totaling $2,000. The layout of the npk fertilizer plant was completed in a total of 5 days, and this customer paid us $1500 for the installation. Finally, the customer started production operations on October 20th, 2023.
